This client did not have enough storage space and decided to close off a doorway and add more cabinetry. The new cabinetry really added to the kitchen.
You can see where the old cabinetry ended and the doorway that was closed off.
The old cabinetry was well made but many of the doors didn't close properly. We added new hinges and hardware and adjusted them to function properly.

Failing, yellowing lacquer to White Dove
Yellowing lacquer and a failing finish.
Someone repainted them at some point and they were full of pet hair, brush strokes and food encased in the paint.
We removed the backsplash, fixed a bunch of wiring (it was unsafe), added new drywall and refinished the cabinetry.

What a difference White Dove makes! I believe this is my favorite color combination.
The client's lighting does not show this island color off very well. It's called Urbane Bronze.
While it's a beautiful kitchen, it needed the new owner's touch to make it their own.
